Stainted Love

Stainted Love is a collection of tableware that plays with peoples perceptions of stains. I wanted to take seemingly worthless stains and make them into a thing of beauty and decoration. I chose to embroider my tea stains as thread has a delicate, attractive feel to it aswell as adding texture to the material. I embroidered tea stains onto both plain white tea towels and heavily patterned fabric, both making the unappealing seem more attractive.
